Prayer Ministry
Prayer plays a vital role in our healing as we do not go into the battle towards healing alone; we also need the supernatural healing that God can provide. Leanie has spent many hours with people, guiding them in prayer facilitation processes. She is trained in Soulcare ministry, which is a ministry for inner healing through prayer. With the help of the Holy Spirit, the deepest hurts and lies can be detected that lead you to the place where you are lacking in your wellness. Many times, these hurts are at a very subconscious level, and you struggle to even remember when the hurt occurred. The prayer ministry that you can receive at Wellness Place is not hypnotism; you are guided to hear God’s voice and to discern where the lies are, where healing is needed, and where forgiveness should be given. This ministry can take anything from 1 to 3 sessions, depending on your needs.
Grief Counselling
Past Leanie has been helping people in the area of grief counselling for many years. Out of personal experience healing from various losses in her own life and with the help of her griefshare ministry at Communio Church she has become well equipped in the area of grief.  Unresolved or unprocessed grief can lead to a lack of overall wellness physically, mentally and spiritually.  In the sessions you can expect to explore aspects of grief such as the normal stages of grief, trauma experienced during the loss of a loved one, relationship troubles now because of the losses that you have experienced, coping with your everyday life and the grief and questions that you might struggle with spiritually because of the losses that you faced. Grief counselling differs from person to person as each loss experienced is unique. 4 sessions is usually needed but it can be longer or shorter depending on the severity of the case.
Marriage Counselling
At Wellness Place, we believe in the sacredness of marriage and we are aware of the great attack of the enemy on marriages today. Past Leanie has been happily married for 20 years this year. She has worked with numerous couples, helping them through the problems they face in marriage. Couples will be taken through a marriage course if they want to, which normally consists of seven sessions. If a marriage course is not for you, then aspects such as forgiveness, love, respect, and values in the marital relationship are explored.
Parental Advice
Past Leanie has a passion for families. She is the mother of three beautiful children who are in high school and primary school. She is trained in children’s ministry and has worked with parents on aspects such as discipline, bonding with your children, prayer ministry for children, as well as getting both parents on board with healthy parenting skills and supporting parents who have children who struggle with school aspects such as bullying and low academic functioning or behavioural difficulties.
Divorce Care
Going through divorce is one of the most devastating challenges that can be very traumatic, and at Wellness Place, you will find a loving and empathetic setting to heal from the pain of divorce. Past Leanie has worked with many divorced ladies throughout the years, having also been the chairperson of an NPO called City Changers Social Services, which had a home for abused women and children for 7 years. Ministering to these ladies and their children has taught her the intricacies of what divorce does and also the processes involved in dealing with the spiritual, mental, social, and physical traumas of divorce. For many years, Past Leanie has led the divorce care ministry of Communio Church and trained others to facilitate this process.
Addiction Recovery and Support
Addiction is such a widespread problem in today’s life and steals our ability to function in the fullness of life that was given to us. From screen addiction that steals our time with our families to other addictions like alcohol, drug use and pornography, the list is endless. Pastor Leanie started the Celebrate Recovery ministry at Communio Church 8 years ago, and this ministry is still running each week on a Monday evening at the church. What Wellness Place can offer is one-on-one support to those who do not feel up to the group setting or support for families of those who struggle with addiction.
Premarital Counselling
Past Leanie Erasmus is a licensed wedding official, and her services include working through a premarital course of 8 sessions with the couple, where aspects like communication, personality types, adjustments to newlywed life, big decisions in marriage, the family dynamic of in-laws, and how to keep your marriage healthy will be discussed. This service includes, if the couple so wishes, the wedding sermon as well as the wedding officiating. Past Leanie does not charge for the officiating of marriages, as it is against the rules to charge for wedding officiating, but there are charges for the premarital course and the sermon on the day.
Wellness Retreat
At Wellness Place, we offer accommodation for those who want to retreat for wellness purposes to a serene environment or who are not permanent residents of Nelspruit and need to travel to make use of the services we offer. At our guest retreat called Bikkurim Inn, we offer two luxurious guest suites, and packages will be determined by the number of sessions that you wish to book at Wellness Place. You may check into your unit any time from 14:00, and sessions will be available the following morning between 08:00 and 13:00. We recommend a two-night stay for this purpose. If you wish to stay at our facilities, you are also welcome to book on our online platforms, Airbnb or Lekkeslaap.
